Leader of LCC Nick Rushton welcomes a letter by chief officers is to be sent to Battram residents keeping them up to date on what the County Council is doing to ensure the speedy removal of the illegal encampments on County Council land in Battram.
Nick Rushton says:
"I have received many separate comments from concerned residents about this. The former highways depot land has been removed from public auction sale after we raised it with chief officers. Let me reassure residents once again that the County Council is doing everything it can do to elicit the speedy removal of these illegal encampments."
