"I am delighted that on page 34 of the manifesto, there is a clear commitment from the next Conservative government for fairer schools funding.
We have been campaigning for years to get this. For children in Leicestershire, it could mean an extra £20.5 million per year for our schools. We still await the finer detail, but if this funding is incorporated into the baseline schools grant, it is fantastic news."
