As you will no doubt be aware, the County Council has been acting as a single point of contact within the County in dealing with the HS2 issue.
I have invited HS2 Limited along to County Hall at 10am, which I shall be chairing and officers will be present, on Thursday 18th April 2013 to give a presentation in the Council Chamber. This will be an opportunity for all members to ask questions of HS2 and its impact in Leicestershire, and I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend the briefing.
