He has lived in the division for 56 years (with a brief period away, including a year in Canada) and has been connected to farming and the agricultural industry throughout his life.
He works full-time in a UK-wide role focused on policy and regulation for veterinary medicines, and also manages a small farm and a DIY livery business. He's married to Rachel and they have three grown-up children.
Bryan's work as a County Councillor has three core strands:
- representing residents and helping resolve issues—large or small;
- attending parish council meetings across the division (most meet monthly);
- and delivering his responsibilities at County Hall, supporting cost-effective services for Leicestershire residents.
