County councillor for Syston Ridgeway
At Leicestershire County Council, I sit on the Highways, Transport and Waste Management Scrutiny Committee, which examines transport matters including school transport, flooding, rights of way, and waste management. I also serve on the Corporate Governance Committee, overseeing both internal and external audit and the Council’s governance arrangements.
Previously, I served as a Borough Councillor for Syston East and as a member of Syston Town Council.
My priorities as a councillor include improving public transport and tackling flooding. In particular, I will be supporting residents affected by the January 2025 floods and continuing to push for practical solutions that reduce future risk.
